Happy Birthday!
I have been playing golf since I was 16 years old. Had never had a hole in one.
Then I adopted Natural Golf in 2001. Now I have a hole in one every 2 years - 2003, 2005 and now 2007.
The latest was on Wednesday, Sept 19 - at my home course of Hidden Lake in Burlington, Ontario. And the best part - it happened on my 65th birthday!

Practice Makes Perfect – Well, Almost
I want to start off by saying thank you. I became a follower of Natural Golf three years ago after watching a half hour show on TV about the program. I went to your website to pick up more tips and then ordered new grips and purchased the video of 7 Minutes to Natural Golf. The logic of the approach seemed right, so then I purchased three more videos and watched them each about 100 times, at least.Watching the feet, rewind 20 times, watching the right arm, rewind 30 times, and so on with each body part. Then practice, practice, practice. I went through this process for months. My game seemed to improve somewhat as time went on.
Then after watching one of the tapes one day, a light went on and the magic began to happen. I’m still not where I want to be but from where I was three years ago, an 18 hcp, to now playing to an 8 – 9 hcp is great, and the best part is it’s easy and 10x the fun. Everything seems so natural. I don’t think about it, no matter the club. My chipping from 40 yards with a variety of clubs is so easy, it makes the way I used to do it seem almost stupid. I was in a group this past week and a couple of the guys mentioned that they couldn’t believe how far I was hitting my driver without all the forced hip and shoulder rotation used with the traditional golf method, reaching for power.
I’m sure you have lots of success stories but I wanted to tell you mine. I’m proud to say “I’m a Natural Golfer.” It’s made golf a truly fun relaxing game, the easy way, the way it’s supposed to be.

From a Weekend Warrior
I began playing Natural Golf about 5 years ago after very nearly quitting the game. I heard a radio commercial, driving home after a super frustrating day trying to play golf.
I am almost 61 now and have been playing the game for over 30 years on a not so serious scale. Why? Because being at least average in most other sports, I just could never get there with golf yet I still enjoyed the outing with my friends. I am a once a week golfer at best and carried a 30 – 36 handicap with a local golf group that plays once a month.
After hearing your commercial I thought why not, I have nothing to lose. I purchased the “Natural Golf” book and read it cover to cover. I then ordered the grips and re-gripped my PINGS and began the new style. It felt awkward after playing golf a different way for so many years but Continued on page 8I began seeing changes in my game and so did my friends. In my opinion the Natural Golf style forced me to eliminate many of my bad habits. I later purchased a set of clubs and even took a one day school. My game continued to improve and my handicap came down by some 5 – 10 strokes and I know that is still not impressive but it made me a believer.
I most recently purchased Natural Golf’s latest and greatest set of clubs being the ST Hybrids 3 - pitching wedge, I already own the Beryllium Copper Wedges so this set matched perfectly with the elimination of my 5 and 7 woods. My previous three lowest scores (all since taking up Natural Golf) have been 83 and my first time out using my new clubs I shot a 91. I just could not believe how these clubs hit the ball and the 3, 4 & 5 Hybrids, unbelievable, flat unbelievable. This past weekend was my once a month golf club group so you can imagine how excited I was to play.
You can call it the “Zone,” the “Cone” or whatever you want, I was in it this weekend. I hit those Hybrids straight and accurate like I never hit clubs before and each club went at least 10 yards further than in earlier times. I surpassed all my prior record scores with an “80” totaling 8 pars and 3 birdies. All my golfing buddies were amazed and I was the talk of that day and of course I took all the money too. I can see my handicap coming down big time and yes I am enjoying golf like never before.

Try It, You’ll Be Surprised
I took up Natural Golf about four years ago and have seen a significant improvement in my game since doing so. I had played golf for about 25 years before trying Natural Golf. It wasn’t something that I planned to do, but my husband was interested in trying it so I bought him a one day school for Father’s Day. Unfortunately, he never found time to use the lesson and I decided to give it a try.
Before Natural Golf I would say that I averaged around 105 per round of golf. If I had a great day I could occasionally break 100. After completing the Natural Golf instruction with Dave Woods, it took a couple weeks of practicing the new swing before it began to reflect in my scores. All of a sudden my rounds dropped into the low to mid 90’s with occasional rounds in the 80’s.
I have always dreamed of getting a hole in one. With my new, “straight as an arrow” flight path, for the first time I began to think that this dream might come true. Two years ago I came very close when my tee shot carried over a pond, landed softly on the green, rolled uphill hitting the flagstick before rolling 6 inches to the side of the cup. But, I was encouraged!
This March, while playing at Desert Springs Golf Course in Surprise, AZ I finally realized my dream. On a 91 yard hole, I hit a pitching wedge to the green. The ball looked great in the air and it was “dead on” the target. It hit the green and rolled up and into the cup! What a thrill!
I love Natural Golf and am so glad that I have adopted it. I have to admit that it was a leap of faith as I was firmly entrenched in my old swing, but, it has paid dividends. I also have some chronic low back pain and find that Natural Golf is much less stressful on my back. I just wanted to thank you for this easy, repeatable swing. All new golfers should learn this approach…it would be much less frustrating and they would improve their skills much more quickly. I will never go back to my old swing.
